ABOUT

For Dream Studio, Honda Vision Steps of Glory 2017 was not only a brand campaign but a large-scale experiment on the ability to transform a marketing activity into a pop-culture event. Developed as an outdoor fashion and music festival taking place simultaneously in the three largest cities of Vietnam including Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Da Nang, the project opened up a new approach for brand programs: placing art experience at the center of public connection.

Inspired by the message “Vision - 7 colors - 7 styles”, the program was built as a playground for the young generation, where music, fashion, and lifestyle coexisted in a unified experience ecosystem. Instead of placing the product at the center of the program, Dream Studio chose a storytelling method through emotions, personalities, and contemporary cultural trends, helping the brand integrate organically into the audience's experience.

The special feature of the project lay in the organization scale stretching across all three regions of the country. In just one implementation season, the program set a record of attracting over 100,000 direct attendees, becoming one of the largest outdoor fashion and music event series in Vietnam at that time. Each stop was not just a performance but was developed as a large-scale pop-culture festival with an outdoor stage, community interaction spaces, and experiential activities for the audience.

Music played the role of the emotional connection axis throughout the program. With the participation of top Vietnamese artists such as My Tam, Noo Phuoc Thinh, Toc Tien, Dong Nhi, Soobin Hoang Son, Miu Le, Min, Truc Nhan, Only C, Rocker Nguyen along with many other artists, each performance night unfolded as a continuous musical journey with new remixes, a modern stage visual system, and a festival-like performance experience. Instead of separate performances, the acts were connected into a continuous flow of energy, creating an atmosphere similar to outdoor music festivals on the international stage.

Accompanying the music was the fashion element invested at a scale rarely seen for a brand event. Over 17 new collections from top Vietnamese designers were introduced on the same stage, modeled by a cast of over 100 models, vedettes, and champions of prestigious fashion competitions. Iconic runaway figures such as Hoang Thuy, Lan Khue, Mau Thuy, Trang Pham, or Phi Phuong Anh contributed to turning the program into a large-scale outdoor runway, where fashion was not just a performance but became a part of the overall visual experience.

One of the highlights of Honda Vision Steps of Glory was the ability to combine multiple art forms within the same event structure. Pop music, fashion, stage performance, lighting effects, and community experience were organized as interconnected layers. This helped the program go beyond the limits of a product promotion event to become a contemporary cultural festival for the youth.

For Dream Studio, Honda Vision Steps of Glory 2017 is a testament to the ability to create brand experiences with widespread diffusion in the community. Through this project, Dream Studio continues to pursue the orientation of transforming commercial events into pop-culture spaces, where art, entertainment, and community emotions together create values beyond the framework of a conventional communication campaign.
