ABOUT

On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, Cặp Lá Yêu Thương Gala - “Children of Peace” was produced as a special television program to pay tribute to the heroic martyrs and wounded soldiers, while extending compassionate to underprivileged children who are offspring of families with meritorious services to the revolution.

Accompanying VTV24, Dream Studio built the program into an emotional storytelling journey. Instead of using dramatized staging techniques, the program chose a minimalist theatrical language so that real-life stories became the center of the experience. Throughout the program were stories about veterans, martyrs' families, and children continuing the journey of their fathers and brothers with the spirit to rise above adversity. The musical performances were staged as successive emotional chapters, combining performance art, documentary footage, and the characters’ personal narratives, creating a unified narrative flow about gratitude, sacrifice, and the aspiration to live in peace.

The highlight of the project lay in how Dream Studio balanced the television and stage elements. The performance space was designed to both meet the requirements of live recording and maintain the closeness between the characters and the audience, helping every honoring moment or every shared story to carry a natural moving power, without the need for showy effects.

For Dream Studio, volunteer projects like Cặp Lá Yêu Thương Gala - “Children of Peace” are a testament to the power of art when placed in humane values. Through the language of stage and television broadcasting, the program not only paid tribute to those who sacrifice for the country but also continued to spread the spirit of compassion, community connection, and inspire gratitude to today's generations.
