ABOUT

Responding to the global campaign on energy saving and environmental protection, Dream Studio collaborated with  the Ministry of Industry and Trade and Vietnam Electricity (EVN) to build Earth Hour 2018 into a community art program, where music, performance technology, and inspiring stories together contributed to spreading the message of responsibility towards the planet.

With the spirit of “Go More Green - I live greener today”, the program was built following a continuous emotional flow, connecting the launching ceremony, the Earth Hour symbolic lights-out, and a series of art performances gathering many young artists and thousands of volunteers. Rather than relying solely on spoken calls to action , Dream Studio chose to let the stage, music, and images become the main language, helping the audience directly feel the campaign's significance.

The performances were staged as slices of the relationship between humans and nature, from tracks such as “Vì Đâu (Why)”, “Mẹ Thiên Nhiên (Mother Nature)”, “C'Mon” to the performances of artists Ha Le, Phuc Bo, Duong Hoang Yen, and UNI5, guiding the audience from awareness to action. Closing the program, a mass choral performance of “We Are The World” by all participating artists and volunteers created a moment of strong resonance, turning the event night into a symbol of community spirit and social responsibility.

Through Earth Hour 2018, Dream Studio continued to pursue an approach to community events as artistic experiences capable of creating a positive impact on society, connecting, and spreading good values in society.
