Inspired by Steve Jobs' famous words on loving one's work and the desire to create great things, Dep Fashion Show 10 was developed by Dream Studio as a stage to honor Passion—the quiet yet powerful force behind all creativity. Rather than approaching the program as a mere fashion show, Dream Studio chose to build an artistic journey where fashion, music, performance art, and creative concepts coexist in a unified structure.
Each collection was developed as an independent story with its own unique performance language. From the bold contrasts in Devon Nguyen's designs and the mystical world of Truong Thanh Hai's glowing dresses, to the human chess game staged with Ly Qui Khanh's European-inspired classic designs, the stage constantly transformed to open up different spaces and emotional states. The designers did not just present their collections; they became the authors of their own artistic worlds on stage.
One of the highlights of Dep Fashion Show 10 was how Dream Studio integrated various forms of contemporary art into the fashion structure. Electric guitar, piano, Koto, contemporary dance, and visual performance solutions were used as layers of language alongside the fashion. Performances by Tri Minh, Nguyen Nho Truong Sa, and other artists and dance troupes helped push the stage beyond the limits of a traditional runway.
The spirit of Passion was also reflected in how each collection was placed in its own performance context. From Truong Thanh Hai's glowing dresses, where conceptual fashion was transformed into an impressive visual image, to the Japanese-inspired designs of Kelly Bui, and the works of Diem My, Adrian Anh Tuan, and Le Thanh Hoa, each segment was built as an independent slice of the show's larger narrative.
The climax of the journey was the performance by designer Cong Tri. The stage space was transformed into an operating room, where Thanh Hang appeared from above as a patient undergoing "surgery" to find her true self. The question "Who am I?" became the conceptual axis of the finale. The image of Thanh Hang in a transparent outfit, shaped like a fetus molded from Cong Tri's own face, closed the show with a symbol of rebirth and the endless journey of self-discovery.
For Dream Studio, Dep Fashion Show 10 is one of the projects that clearly demonstrates the mindset of taking fashion beyond the framework of a conventional runway. Through stage art, the program turned each collection into its own world, where the artist's passion was transformed into an emotional and visual experience for the audience.
