And to all the staff, partners, artists, and organizations involved in the project!
Marking 10 years of Ho Ngoc Ha's artistic career, Ho Ngoc Ha Concert 2011 was developed by Dream Studio as a project that set new standards for live concert production in Vietnam. More than just a solo show, it was crafted as a visual-centric stage experience—where music, fashion, technology, and performance art converged to define the image of a contemporary entertainer.
For Dream Studio, the greatest challenge was not merely to replicate Ho Ngoc Ha's past successes, but to create a stage grand enough to propel the singer into a new phase of her career. Consequently, the entire program was developed with the mindset of pushing the boundaries of a conventional concert, incorporating hundreds of tons of equipment, a system of nearly 750m² of LED screens covering the ceiling, floor, and stage walls, alongside large-scale lighting, visuals, and performance effects.
The opening moment became one of the most iconic images in Vietnamese stage history at the time. A massive, multi-ton stage dome slowly opened, revealing an egg-shaped spaceship lowered from a height of dozens of meters by a high-capacity crane system. Ho Ngoc Ha’s appearance in an alien-inspired costume, kicking off with the song "Invincible," not only created a visual spectacle but also served as a symbolic representation of rebirth and a new version of the artist.
Over nearly two hours of performance, Ho Ngoc Ha performed nearly 30 songs, joined by the Hoang Thong dance troupe, Arabesque, and professional dancers from South Korea. The show was structured with a continuous rhythm, alternating between high-energy performances, lyrical moments, and visual layers specifically developed for each segment. Beyond the music and choreography, the costumes designed by Cong Tri became an essential part of the concert's visual language.
For Dream Studio, Ho Ngoc Ha Concert 2011 stands as a significant milestone in the evolution of concert production in Vietnam. The project not only elevated Ho Ngoc Ha to a new position in the entertainment industry but also helped define a new standard for live concerts, where performance art, stage technology, and production philosophy are integrated into a unified experience. The show was honored with the "Entertainment Show of the Year" award, marking a memorable milestone in the creative journey of the entire Dream Studio team in leaving a lasting mark on the Vietnamese entertainment industry.
