M-TP & FRIENDS

Organized as a birthday gift for the Sky fandom, M-TP and Friends marked the first large-scale fan meeting in the career of singer Son Tung M-TP, while simultaneously setting a new standard for the fan meeting model in Vietnam. With nearly 5,000 fans at the Quan Ngua Sports Palace, the event was conceptualized not as a standard meet-and-greet, but as an experience where the distance between the artist and the fans was almost completely erased.

Dream Studio chose to develop the entire space following a fan-centric mindset. A four-sided stage system was placed in the middle of the auditorium, helping the audience in all positions to observe and connect directly with Son Tung M-TP. Instead of having a main side of the stage, the entire space was designed so that the artist and fans were always present in the same experience.

The show opened with an illusive staging trick: four body-double dancers dressed as Son Tung M-TP emerged on stage simultaneously, distracting the entire auditorium. When the attention was pushed to its peak, Son Tung moved through an under-stage tunnel system to make a dramatic surprise reveal right in the middle of the stage, creating an emotional explosion moment right from the very first minutes.

Besides the music performance segment, the program was built with many interactive activities aiming to make fans a part of the show. Games were crafted not just for entertainment, but to foster authentic interaction between Sky and their idol. The food guessing challenge brought one of the evening’s most memorable moments when the winner joined Son Tung M-TP for a meal right on the stage, while simultaneously listening to him perform an intimate acoustic version of “Nơi này có anh (I’m here)”. Closing the program was the moment the entire fandom surprised the artist with a birthday sing-along and cake presentation, making Son Tung unable to hide his emotion, pushing the emotions of all participants to a climax. 

For Dream Studio, the project was an important milestone in redefining fandom experience in Vietnam, where the stage not only served performances but also became an emotional connection space between the artists and their loyal fandom community, who always accompany them throughout their career.
