Developed as a large-scale brand experience campaign for Viettel 4G, “Kết Nối Triệu Tâm Hồn (Connecting Millions of Souls)” was one of the most outstanding outdoor events of 2018. It simultaneously marked the collaborative journey between Dream Studio and Viettel in creating large-scale mass programs with strong spreading power.
Instead of approaching it through a traditional music performance model, Dream Studio developed the project as a large-scale visual experience, where the stage became a visual symbol for the spirit of conquest, innovation, and the aspiration to rise.
The outstanding highlights of the project were the 360-degree stage system designed from the image of a giant robot towering nearly 30 meters high and weighing hundreds of tons. The stage structure was constructed in just 3 days but required a particularly complex level of technical, structural, and operational calculation. Not only playing the role of a performance center, the stage also became an identifying visual symbol for the entire campaign.
The next highlight was the performance with a giant cluster of balloons tens of meters in the air along with a female dancer. Choreographed by an Italian performance troupe, this unique act made its Southeast Asian debut at the event. . The image of the artist moving at a height of tens of meters above the crowd created a distinctive visual highlight, while simultaneously expanding the application limits of spatial performance types in mass events in Vietnam.
Meanwhile, the Ho Chi Minh City edition carried a deeply emotional resonance as it became a stage honoring the Vietnam U23 National Football team featuring players Bui Tien Dung (defender) and Trong Dai, after their historical journey at the 2018 AFC U23 Championship. Tens of thousands of spectators joined in the atmosphere of national pride, turning the event from a music program to a moment of community connection through shared pride in Vietnamese sports.
Accompanying the art performances was the application of cutting-edge performance effects appearing for the first time on a large-scale outdoor stage in Vietnam. Lighting technology, stage movements, and special effects were integrated to create a continuous visual experience, helping brand content be conveyed through emotions instead of direct communication forms.
For Dream Studio, “Kết Nối Triệu Tâm Hồn (Connecting Millions of Souls)” was the next step in the journey of expanding the limits of brand events in Vietnam. Dream Studio believes that when technology, performance art, and creative thinking are connected in the same experience system, the event is not only a communication tool but also becomes a part of pop culture, where millions of emotions are connected in the exact same moment.
