I. PROJECT OVERVIEW
Premiering at VinWonders Nha Trang, Tata Show is a real-scene multimedia spectacular with a total investment of 10 million USD in 2019. To this day, it remains the most valuable multimedia spectacle ever produced by a domestic production agency for Vietnam’s tourism market.
Developed by a Vietnamese creative team led by Creative Director Viet Tu, Music Director Duong Khac Linh, Character Concept Designer Thanh Phan, Technical & Production Director Phan Hai Linh, and Visual Producer Studio Motix, etc., the project marked a significant milestone for Vietnam’s entertainment industry by demonstrating the capability of local talent to conceive, produce, and operate world-class destination shows. It also represents an important chapter in Dream Studio’s long-term vision of using performing arts as a catalyst for tourism development, the night-time economy, and destination experiences.
---
The project was developed over 18 months, involving hundreds of performers, artists, and technical specialists from both Vietnam and abroad. Combining large-scale 3D mapping technology, high-powered lighting systems, pyrotechnic effects, mechanical props, and monumental scenic environments, Tata Show delivered a visual experience rarely seen in Vietnam.
---
Without relying on spoken dialogue, the production tells its story through music, lighting, movement, and visual emotion, allowing audiences of all nationalities and ages to engage with the performance intuitively.
The narrative follows the adventure of Princess Tata, Ocean Prince, and their friends as they protect the Jewel of Happiness from the dark forces headed by the Dark Lord. The story unfolds across three fantastical realms: the World Garden, the Sea World, and the Dark World, creating a contemporary fairy tale centered on courage, faith, and the triumph of good over evil.
While designed to captivate children and families, Tata Show also offers an emotionally engaging experience for adult audiences through its cinematic staging, large-scale performance language, and globally accessible visual storytelling.

II. PIONEERING PRODUCTION CAPABILITIES
To realize a production of such a grand scale on Hon Tre Island, Tata Show required the transportation, installation, and operation of hundreds of tons of technical equipment within a purpose-built outdoor performance venue.
Custom-built scenic elements included a fire-breathing and smoke-emitting dragon (14m long and 7m high), a fountain structure (11m in diameter and 4.5m high), a Gazebo Flower House (8m in diameter and 7.5m high), alongside numerous moving scenic structures and cinematic-scale stage elements. Together, these components created an immersive fantasy world unprecedented in Vietnam at the time of its launch.
---
One of the show’s most pioneering achievements was its integration of large-scale live performance with advanced 3D Mapping technology, a format requiring extraordinary precision in lighting synchronization, motion programming, and real-time interaction with performers. To achieve international production standards, the project deployed 14 high-powered projectors combined with the most advanced sound, lighting, and effects systems available in Vietnam at the time.
Each performance featured more than 170 Vietnamese and international performers, making Tata Show one of the largest real-scene multimedia spectaculars ever produced by a Vietnamese creative team.

III. TOURISM & ECONOMIC IMPACT
The launch of Tata Show contributed to expanding the concept of a "tourism destination" in Nha Trang beyond leisure travel, positioning it as a large-scale entertainment, cultural, and artistic experience. Following its debut, the production quickly became one of the city's signature attractions and a key component of the VinWonders experiential ecosystem.
---
According to statistics from the Khanh Hoa tourism sector , the province welcomed nearly 5.2 million visitors in the first six months of 2024, with a target of 9 million visitors for the year. Meanwhile, VinWonders Nha Trang receives approximately 2.5 million visitors annually (Khanh Hoa Newspaper, 2024). These figures highlight the growing role of large-scale entertainment productions in extending visitor stays, increasing tourism spending, and contributing directly to local economic growth.
---
For Dream Studio, Tata Show is more than a theatrical production. It stands as evidence of the potential of Vietnam’s cultural industries, demonstrating how locally developed entertainment experiences can generate economic value, strengthen tourism, and elevate national branding through the creative capabilities of the Vietnamese.
